 MYSORE PALACE


The Mysore Palace, is a whole experience in store for the history enthusiasts and people interested in keeping a keen knowledge about the Wodeyar rule here. There humongous palace also has 12 renowned temples divine to the Hindus. You can pay your obeisance here.

The main palace is built amidst beautifully landscaped gardens. It has an intricately articulated elevation complete with bow-shaped canopies, curved arches and bay windows made in various styles, including Hindu and Byzantine. The exteriors of the palace also feature two durbar halls. The palace’s interiors are equally quintessential and have several aspects enriching it, such as stained glass ceilings, carved doors, Czechoslovakian chandeliers, shiny tiled floors, sprawling pavilions and artwork from across the world. 

Above the central arch of the palace facade is a beautifully designed structure of Goddess Gajalakshmi (Goddess of wealth and prosperity) with two elephants beside it. The architecture of this palace is truly majestic and should not be missed. 




The regality of the Mysore Palace is unmatched and should be witnessed by all at least once in a lifetime.

 A PERFECT WEEKEND   Few months back , we explored the towns of Mahabalipuram. Its a fantabulous weekend to our family as that is our first visit to Mahabalaipuram. THANJAVUR

  THANJAVUR TRIP:              On my 8th summer holiday, we went to Thanjavur for a vacation. There I visited many famous places and most importantly I get a chance to visit the famous temple in Tamilnadu known as Peruvudaiyar temple which is now known as Thanjavur big temple.                And then I visited few more places in Thanjavur such as Saraswathi Mahal library, Thirumalai Nayakkar Mahal, Thanjavur Maratha palace, Vennar river.                Now let us see about my vacation enjoyment in these places.
